How to lose 20 lbs in a month with exercise (short & easy exercises, or yoga)
Have you been trying to lose 20 lbs recently? And are you having a very difficult time doing so?
Do you have a busy schedule, and find that you just don’t have an hour a day to spend at the gym working out? Or maybe you don’t like going to the gym and doing a workout routine in public in front of a bunch of strangers? I can understand this….I HATED working out in a public gym in front of a lot of people I have never seen before.
If you have answered ‘YES’ to the majority (or all) of the questions above, then I have something you are going to want to hear.
I have the perfect plan to show you how to lose 20 lbs in a month with exercise (10-15 mins a day of very light exercise, and/or yoga)
Exercise – to help you lose the 20 lbs in a month
First…..lets get to some questions about exercising!
Is there any types of exercising that you are opposed to doing?
You should ask yourself this question first, as it makes the rest of the process a lot easier (making decision on what your plan will be to get more exercise).
After all, I am going to show you how to lose 20 lbs in a month with exercise – so the ‘exercise’ portion is something to address right up front.
Having SOME exercise in your daily lifestyle is very important! Your body NEEDS some sort of exercise to stay healthy, and to really help prevent a lot of problems down the road in the future (muscle pain, joint pain, decrease in muscle and bone density, loss of balance, etc – things that occur due to lack of exercise).
I have never been a fan of working out for an hour a day at the gym…..its just not my thing. I prefer to go on walks and bike rides in the evening or on weekends. Over the past year I have also starting doing Yoga routines at home, which I find really relaxing, and I find gives me more energy on a daily basis and helps a lot with toning the muscles in my body.
Two great exercise routines to accelerate weight loss
If you are interesting in trying Yoga, or if you have done Yoga before and are interesting in trying it again, then I have the perfect idea for you!
It’s called ‘Yoga Burn’ , a great little routine that you do from the comfort of your own home, and at your own schedule (whenever you have time). You can check out some more detailed information about this Yoga plan HERE. Whether you are trying to lose 10 lbs, 20 lbs, or even 50 lbs, a great Yoga routine like this one will help speed up the weight loss results and it is also a great way to help keep the weight off.
Another very interesting exercise routine I have just started recently, is called ‘Unlock Your Hip Flexors’ . This is a great little low impact routine that you can do at home, and it takes about 10-15 minutes. This short and easy routine will help you build more core strength, which will help a LOT when it comes to trying to lose belly fat and lose inches off of your waistline. If you are looking to lose 20 lbs, the hip flexor workout will strengthen these important muscles and help you perform the yoga poses better to increase the fat loss efficiency.
It actually does a LOT more than just this – it will also help improve your circulation, improve your posture, give you more energy, help with your metabolism, and can also actually help you sleep better at night.
Stronger hip flexors will help tone up your thighs, your buttox area, and even help you achieve a flatter stomach. The exercises are so simple, and the benefits are amazing. Having stronger hip flexor muscles WILL help you tone up your body a LOT easier and help keep unwatned fat off. The hip flexor muscles are a smaller group of muscles that are an internal part of your hips/pelvis area, and having stronger hip flexor muscles will help amplify any any body trimming/toning in this area.
You can check out the detailed information HERE for this program. They go into detail about what the hip flexor muscles are, what the hip flexor muscles do, and how stronger hip flexor muscles really CAN help you tone your body and …….melt away that clingy fat that is so hard to burn off!
I have been doing it for about 3 weeks now and I find that it has definitely helped make my stomach more flat (always a trouble area for me), and I feel a lot more flexible and energized.
I would DEFINITELY recommend this to ANYONE who is looking to tone up their body for ‘bathing suit season’ and doesn’t want to have to go to the gym for an hour a day to accomplish this.
THE DIET TO HELP YOU LOSE 20 LBS IN A MONTH
Now, lets talk about the 4 letter word that everyone hates…….DIET.
‘Diet’ is a nasty word with a lot of negative stigmas attached to it. Whenever we hear that word, we always automatically think about diet plans that tell you to eat small portions of very unsatisfying food – ugh.
Well, not all diets are like this. There ARE some diets out there that tell you that you cannot eat carbs, or that you cannot eat fats…………but this is just ridiculous information that MAY help you lose some weight initially. However, many of these diets DON’T work, and even if they do help you lose some weight while flowing their strict regimens, often the weight comes back once you get back to a regular dietary plan.
If you are interested in losing 20 lbs, and being able to keep the weight off permanently, then I would advise you to try a diet plan that doesn’t include avoiding all fats, or carbs. The truth is, your body NEEDS certain healthy fats, and a certain level of carbohydrates, to be healthy and give you the energy you need for your daily routines.
I have lost over 20 lbs myself using a diet plan that has been developed using scientifically proven food facts, and isn’t a huge change that your body will have a difficult time adjusting to. You can also have ‘treats’ every once in a while!!
This diet includes information about how fats, and carbs, and fibers, and proteins, and fruits and vegetables are all necessary for your body and how you can optimize your diet plan in a way that makes it EASY to stick to.
It is called ‘The 2 Week Diet’ – and it is by far the easiest diet to follow, without having massive cravings, or always feeling hungry due to insufficient meal plans.
IT WAS SO EASY TO FOLLOW AND PROVIDED ME WITH SO MANY OPTIONS TO HELP ME LOSE THE WEIGHT. I HAVE TRIED 8 DIFFERENT DIET PLANS OVER THE PAST 5 YEARS AND THIS ONE BY FAR YIELDED THE BEST RESULTS, AND WAS THE EASIEST TO KEEP ON TRACK!
Besides being easy to follow, I found that this diet plan was also handy to planning my dietary routine AFTER I lost all the weight I wanted to. I was able to incorporate a LOT of the aspects of this diet, into my daily meal/snack plans that I still use today.
I GUARANTEE THAT THIS DIET WILL BE THE EASIEST WAY FOR YOU TO LOSE 20 LBS IN A MONTH (WITH SOME EXERCISE), AND MAINTAIN YOUR NEW HEALTHY BODY FOR YEARS TO COME!
BACK TO EXERCISE – ESSENTIAL TO HELP LOSE 20 LBS IN A MONTH
One thing I would advise to ANYONE trying to lose 20 lbs, is to make sure that you get your daily dose of activity/exercise. This is a truly important part of trying to lose so much weight, as it becomes a LOT harder to lose the 20 lbs if you are not getting sufficient activity.
NOTE: you do not need to go to the gym to accomplish this. You could do any (or all) of the following to get some daily exercise:
- Go for a leisurely 30 minute walk – maybe in the evening? when you have more time available for this
- Walk up the stairs at your office building, instead of taking the elevator/escalator
- Go for a 15-30 minute bike ride
- Ride an exercise bike for 15-30 minutes while you watch your favorite TV show (makes the time go by faster)
- Try out a Yoga program at home – great for stress relief, joist pain relief, toning your body, and feeling more relaxed
- A short activity program to help strengthen your core and tone your tummy and thighs/hips (like the ‘hip flexor program‘ I mentioned above)
Being active will also allow you to eat slightly larger portions of meals to help keep your stomach satisfied, and in turn will help keep you from snacking afterwards. I definitely understand how hard portion control can be – I struggled with this myself. But I find that utilizing good portion control helps me with losing weight a LOT better than trying restrictive diets.
I would much rather eat a slightly smaller tasty meal, and do a 15 minute yoga routine, than eat a meal that i find doesn’t satisfy my hunger and will probably feel hungry in an hour.
I also HIGHLY recommend maintaining an active lifestyle after you have lost the weight. This is a HUGE part of helping to keep the weight off, it will also help with your daily energy levels, and it is vital to making sure that your body is healthy for years to come (which is very important as you get older).
It doesn’t take much – just going for a simple 20 minute walk in the evening, or a 10 minute bike ride can do wonders for your body to help you feel, and look, a lot better!
